Kiero Ceramic-Fluid

Modelling liquid for porcelain with a new formula for ceramists

The modelling liquid for porcelain Kiero Ceramic Fluid is a novel mixture of minerals and therefore has the following properties:
Properties and advantages:
• The Kiero Ceramic Fluid creates excellent stability and a plasticity of the ceramic so that it can be very moist and easily sculpted with instruments or brush.
• It lowers the shrinkage of the ceramic due to more homogeneous drying of the material and the following sintering of the ceramic mass. The drying time is aprox. 4-5 minutes at 90 ºC/ 194ºF on the trash and open furnace chamber. Thus reducing internal tensions generating less micro porosities and liftings.
• Improved brilliancy of the colours.
• The fluid can be used also for powder opaquers and shoulder material. So you save 2 further liquids.
• The following high and low fusing porcelains were tested successfully:

– Dentsly-Sirona: Ducera Gold, Kiss, Plus, Cergopress, Cercon Ceram, Ceramo-IC, Finesse
– Dentaurum: Tricerceram Ceramotion Zr/Ti/Lf/Me
– Enrico Steeger: Zirkonzahn
– Espe 3M: Lava Ceram
– Geller: Creation, CC, ZI/CT, Creation LS, Creation LS Press
– GC: Initial Zr-FS, Initial LF/MC/IQ/TI
– Hafner: CH White Classic, Light Classic
– Kulzer: Hera Ceram Saphir/Zirkonia 750/Zirkonia, Hera Sun
– H+M: Inspiration Easy
– Ivoclar: E-Max Ceram, IPS dSign, IPS InLine, IPS Classic
– Jensen: Insync ZR/MC
– Noritake: Cerabien ZR, Super Porcelain EX-3, EX-3 Press
– Shofu: Vintage Pro
– Vita: VM7/9/13/14, Titankeramik, Omega 900, Omega Classic
– Wegold: Evolution, Celebration
– Wohlwend: Vision-Classic/Zirkon/LDL

User information:

For testing different porcelain, it is advisable to use the clear transpa masses for a sample firing (z.B Window / Clear / CLO etc.). The fired platelets must be at least as clear as the manufacturer’s samples.
Dried up models should not be moistened again, because in rare cases it can lead to detachment of the subsequently applied layers. An intermediate dentin firing is here the right solution.
