reBlanx is a self-curing. 2-component acrylic resin system based on methyl methacrylate in powder for refilling of used transparent PMMA blanks. It means an important saving since the necessary material has a value of approximately 5 euros. Classification according to 93/42/EWG Class Iia for the long term uso of bite splint.
It stands out for its very good flowability, optimal mucous membrane compatibility due to low residual monomer content, homogeneous surface, very low plaque susceptibility, absolute color stability due to a catalyst system without tertiary amines, cadmium free, tested and certified biocompatibility.
¿How to do?
Method with used disc
Fix the disc pressuring on the inert foil and some Vaseline® so that the mixed resin does not leak while processing.
Method with metallic ring
Use the metallic rings available for Zirkon Zahn or universal (98,5 mm with step). Fix it on the inert foil an fill it up until the edge with the screws totally tighten.
Finally polymerise the refilled disc in a pressure-curing unit at a pressure of 2 bar and a temperature of 55°C for 20- 30 minutes.
